| Introduction | This is the story of two people, their dog, the old farmhouse they bought, and the outpouring of love that followed. It's an ongoing tale... The adventure began, as most do, with some form of loss. During our first year of marriage we both lost are jobs (thankfully at different times). Jeff was offered a job about two hours away from our home, so we were left with little choice but to move and rent out our house. So we moved into the basement of Jeff's incredibly generous parents; Saint Bernard and all. After about a year in the basement we finally found a place that was in our price range (i.e. dirt cheap; read: major fixer-upper). Renovations began and six months after finding it we finally moved in. Renovations continue on and this blog shall serve as: evidence, friends and family updater, and scrapbook / memory-keeper of all the highs and lows that come along with renovating an 1850's farmhouse.
