| Introduction | In May 2011 I learned that a lump removed from my left forearm was malignant - Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST), a type of sarcoma. This is likely related to the radiation I had in 1989, when I had a bone marrow transplant for leukemia (AML). Shortly after successfully finishing treatment for the MPNST, I found I had breast cancer. I hope to use this blog not just as a way of keeping everyone up to date on what's going on, but to record my thoughts on life and living it to the fullest. |
