| Introduction | I am a contemporary, fine art painter and teacher living on Hornby Island, BC. This blog will encompass my art and the processes that take me into it, the studio, my beautiful family, that is Deb and I and Stella and Lola (the dogs, hence forth to be known as "the girls"), also my extended family which is all the brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers and nieces and nephews that Deb and I now get to share and love and cherish. | Interests | Healing through creativity, all the arts but especially abstract painting, collage and assemblage, kids and dogs! (who knew?). I love to garden and grow our own food and we're so excited to be self sufficient with veggies and chickens for eggs. I love old wood and rusty metal and the re-purposing of those and other old stuff into things of use and beauty. I am deeply in love with and always interested in everything my beautiful partner Deb is doing and thinking and her amazing ability to do EVERYTHING well, ...;)... |
| Favorite Movies | Hmmm, I enjoy movies but so few of them are really memorable, ..Camelot, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy ( a thing for Richard Harris maybe?), Forest Gump, but mostly quirky little independent films like "Cake Eaters", ... |

Disgarded crunched up canvases of a thousand would be painters, recycled metal and wood. Two girls finding true love at the ripe old age of 47....:).
