| Introduction | Lise is an Alaskan glass carver based out of Anchorage. Her work can be found all over the state, from Fairbanks to Homer, as well as the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian Institute, and on the Christmas tree in the White House's blue room, which was specially requested by the first Lady for the 1997 holiday season. In addition to carving glass, Lise loves to travel--especially to warmer climates, cook and bake, ski, SCUBA dive, and explore the diverse creatures under the sea through underwater photography, as evident in a great deal of her art. |
