Introduction	I changed my blog to invited readers only so that I could write boring drivel that only those closest to me would be interested to read...at least I hope they are interested. I'm using it to stay more closely connected with my girls and my son-in-law... Three years ago I wrote... This blog is intended to be a record of our journey through cancer treatment to whereever God will take us. Danny was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsil in January 2003. He went through radiation, surgery and chemotherapy and was in remission for two years. In September of 2005 we found out that his cancer had metastasized to his liver and lungs. Prognosis without treatment is 6-12 months. The only treatment option is chemotherapy, which he began on November 10, 2005. If effective, the chemotherapy can extend his life for 1 to 2 years. Such is the tale of "modern medicine", but we are Christians and believe that God is in control of every aspect of our lives...including this.
