| Introduction | ............... ............... ............... ............... At age 38, as a homeschooling mother of two young daughters (ages 8 and 2), I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This cancer, in the words of one of my doctors, was "aggressive and unpredictable." After all was said and done, I had had six surgeries, two major infections, four months of chemotherapy, five weeks of radiation therapy, and am currently receiving hormone therapy. This is my story. |
| Interests | My family and I live in a language rich home - we love stories of all kinds: movies; books; plays; make-believe. My other interests include cooking, baking, knitting, music, and coffee in all shapes and forms (especially with my friends). |
| Favorite movies | Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion (are we noticing a theme here?) - also, Star Wars (all of them), Lord of the Rings (all of them), Princess Bride, Notting Hill, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle - you get the picture. |
