Introduction	Born in 1963,married in 1987,baptized in 1996, had my first baby in 1999, and moved to a mere two acres in rural TN in 2002 after a life spent in cities. I love my Catholic faith, being home with my crazy, amazing kids, and living in the country. If you want to know how I came up with "Patch O' Dirt" for the farm, it actually comes from The Secret Garden. Mary Lennox asks her uncle for "a bit of earth" in which to plant a garden. If Mary had been in Tennessee, she'd have asked for "a patch o' dirt."
Interests	My Catholic faith, homeschooling, small-scale farming, photography, reading, writing, book restoration, Medieval history and architecture, Baroque architecture and music, Latin, knitting, sewing and other crafts.
Favorite Movies	The Passion of the Christ, Henry V (with Kenneth Brannaugh), The Count of Monte Cristo, Sense and Sensibility, A Man for All Seasons, Lilies of the Field, The Quiet Man, Les Miserables, The Sixth Sense, The Muppets Treasure Island, Kung Fu Panda, and many, many more.
Favorite Music	Corelli, Bach, Vivaldi, Geminiani, Palestrina, Mozart, Bothy Band, Lunasa, Dick Gaughan, bluegrass, chant and polyphony.
Favorite Books	The Spiritual Combat, The Imitation of Christ, Introduction to the Devout Life, Heliotropium, This Tremendous Lover, Father Elijah, Testaments of Time, books about books(!)and about illuminated manuscripts, and vintage housekeeping books.
