Introduction	June 2009 Why start a blog? That was the question on my mind one morning as I woke up, puffy eyed and delirious from sleep deprivation. In case you haven't heard - Dave and I are in the process of getting a d------. Let me start over. Dave and I are separ......he hem. I seem to have a lump in my throat. Okay, so I'm not there yet. I have not fully accepted it. I am not okay with it and if given the choice, would not be in this situation at all. But, as life has it, we don't always get to choose our own paths. Sometimes, there is a bigger plan for us - and we have to swallow that horse pill whole and deal with it like a big girl. What I need right now is you. To listen, to laugh with, and to relate to. To be heard, to feel connected, and to know that I am not judged. I want to share my journey with you - the ups and downs, hilarity and sadness, so that I know that I am not alone. So, maybe it's vain, but this is my mirror - my opportunity to see what I can do with this lemon of a situation and come out a better and happier version of myself. I might be cynical, I might sound crazy, but I will be myself. So thank you in advance - for being a friend.
