| Introduction | I started writing this blog to document my mother's last days as Juan and I cared for her in our home. Writing helped me stay sane as I watched Mom get whittled away by progressive dementia. My husband, Juan, photographed our experiences with Mom daily so I included many of his images in my blog posts. Mom passed away last March so my writing will focus less on caregiving and loss of a loved one and more on life and wilderness. Stay tuned! |
