| Introduction | I'm 44 years old and have a grown son, Kevin. I was happily married from February 1993 to May 2012 to Frank, the only man I've ever really loved. We're divorced now. This has been an extremely difficult time for me, but God has brought me through this, the most excruciatingly painful time of my life, and He continues to heal me and teach me new things every day. I never wanted the divorce, but Frank decided this is what he wanted and needed to make himself happy. So while this would not have been my choice for how to live the rest of my life, all I can do is just keep looking to God for guidance and wisdom every day. To get all cliche on you, "I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future." I take great comfort in that. Jesus is my EVERYTHING and He is teaching me so much on this journey - about where I/we went wrong, about life in general, but mostly about me. He is teaching me how to be the very best me I can possibly be. So while the last 20 years of my life revolved around Frank, this new chapter of my life is all about Jesus and me... |
