Introduction Bob is a Rocket Scientist turned Patent Attorney (registered to practice patent law before the Patent Office and throughout the U.S.). Bob brings his NASA-can-do attitude to solving IP issues. He possesses 12 years of patent drafting experience coupled with over 15 years of engineering and management experience. Bob has written close to 200 patent applications and prosecuted hundreds more for universities, established corporations, entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and other clients. In addition he has helped clients design around existing patents, performed non-infringement analyses, and supervised other IP Attorneys. He also managed patent portfolios and mined projects for IP. He possesses a diverse technical background with a mechanical engineering degree, post-graduate work in electrical engineering, experience integrating avionics systems (hardware, firmware, and software) and semiconductor manufacturing systems, and patent preparation and prosecution experience across these and similar disciplines. He also served as an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) Manager. In addition, he possesses several patents and applications of his own.
