| Introduction | I'm originally from California and currently living in Sydney, Australia with my husband Mike and baby James (the two loves of my life!). I love spending time in nature (hiking, camping, etc.), being active (running, swimming, biking, triathlons, yoga, kayaking), cooking, reading, and travel. Spirituality, reflection, and personal growth are important parts of my life. I'm a former Catholic and now identify as Unitarian Universalist (though I don't have the opportunity to actively participate in UU in Australia). I've held several jobs over the years, all relating to psychology, social service, or religious education, and for now I am happily a full-time mom. My career dream and goal is to be a counsellor/psychologist, and I'm also interested in writing and teaching in some capacity. I recently began training with the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) to be a Breastfeeding Counsellor and Community Educator. I'm passionate about making the world a better place both in small personal ways and through social change, protecting the environment, etc. I'm fortunate to have wonderful family and friends and am grateful every day for the many blessings in my life! |
