Location	Minneapolis, MN
Introduction	I am a MN native and now call South Minneapolis home with my perfect husband, Dan. You’ll find us cruising around the lakes in our 1930 Ford Model A hot rod or hitting the running trails. I am training for my fourth marathon with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, a feat I never imagined possible and now can’t get enough of! I am learning to knit and not afraid to admit that Dirty Dancing is my favorite movie. I joined Best Buy in 2002 and am the HR Project Mgr supporting Emerging Business. In this role, I am responsible for accelerating our people strategy by taking ideas and putting structure and process to achieve the intended outcomes. I am active in WOLF (Women’s Leadership Forum), Best Buy’s movement to develop leaders while driving significant business results. It is focused on the fundamental belief - "If we want to be a great place for women to shop, we have to be a great place for women to work." As part of the NY pack, I helped launch a female mentorship program and inspired female employees to have a confident voice. I attended the U of MN, where I received a BS in Business and also hold a Professional of HR (PHR) certification.
