| Introduction | Hi. I'm an endurance athlete. I never used to even use the word "athlete" to describe myself until I came to terms that, well, I am one I guess. I'm a serial marathon runner and triathlete. I've been running for well over half my life and have been competing in competitive distance events, not because I want to win, but because it makes me a better person, lover, daughter, sister, worker and friend. I believe in wholesomeness, optimism, love, caring for others and self-betterment. I believe that many of these things can be achieved through my passion for running and use it as my own metaphor; it's my teacher, protector, outlet and true love. I believe in bluesky and fresh air on a cloudless day and I think sometimes it believes in me in return. |
