Introduction	Hi my name is Mark Caldwell. I live in the South of Scotland. I love being outside and especially running in the hills and mountains of Scotland. I started running in 1996 when i left he fishing industry to work on a fisheries patrol boat in Whitby , North Yorkshire. You can't do much of any kind excerise a fishing boat! Four years later we moved to Fraserburgh where i joined the local running club. From there things went from strength to strength combining hill walking / mountaineering with running. My distances slowly got longer until my first marathon in 2008 at Baxter's Loch Ness. until now i am returning to do the Spine race (268 mile non-stop winter ultra marathon along the elevated Pennine way) for the second time.
