| Introduction | Sandi received her BA in Elementary Education from Mercyhust College in Erie, PA. A few years later, her son was born profoundly deaf. This launched Sandi on a new journey. She went on to earn a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA and set upon a mission to give her young son an early advantage in learning language and other readiness skills he would need for school. Nonna and Me products were originally created for Sandi's first grandchild. This bright and happy little girl was born prematurely and was experiencing some developmental delays in language. The “Nonna and Me ABCs” DVD and books helped her in the development of these necessary language skills. Sandi currently lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband, two children, and three grandchildren. The Nonna and Me venture is truly a family affair, dedicated to assisting parents by providing them with quality materials for their little ones to learn particular readiness skills needed in the kindergarten and first grade classroom. |
