Introduction	—Born 1975 in Waiblingen, Germany, received his Diploma in Psychology from the University of Konstanz in 2001 and a PhD in Psychology / Cognitive Neuroscience in 2004. Jonas is amazed by the hearing brain. He has held a research staff position at the MPI CBS Leipzig, Germany, since 2007. From 2011 on, he will run the Max Planck Research Group «Auditory Cognition».
