| Introduction | I was born in Montana and raised in a dozen Air Force SAC bases. I attended Holy Cross,West Point and UNC in Chapel Hill(MD"71). Major in Chemistry. Army doc in the last years of the Viet Nam fiasco. My wife and I live in a log cabin I built in Jackson Hole in 1975. I've done a dozen different jobs and retired from the Emergency Room and the Operating Room in 2004. We are living in a beautiful alpine setting running a diversified 5 acre organic farm where we live a simple hard working frugal existence. My wife and I raise St Croix sheep, Kunekune pigs and Jersey milk cows, Icelandic Chickens as well as various poultry.We hike and ski when we're not thinking about economics and spreading the implications of exponential global growth and climate change. and managing the implications of living in a world far exceeding its carrying capacity. |
