| Introduction | I live in a small, sometimes quiet hamlet of Enterprise, or formerly known as "Skunks Misery" to the older post pioneer inhabitants. The name explains it all. My cute husband Wess is a rancher and I too help along with the chores. We have a good son that takes care of his family, a daughter in law that luckily is mine and 4 grandsons that are cute, sweet, smart and keep you on your toes. I remember traveling as a child back and forth between Utah and California thru valleys like this and thinking "I could live here." And sure enough I found that valley amongst the mountains that is colder than cold in winter and hotter than hot in the summer. The spring is a welcome sight and fall comes just in time. My childhood passion of animals that I couldn't have as a kid has been quenched with 6 dogs, 1 cat, 2 rabbits and MY HORSE, ( I love to say that). This is a revelation from my 3rd grade teacher who said "Mary will raise cats and dogs on horse island." And she was right. |
