| Introduction | I am a full-time title one preschool teacher, at a preschool for children with special needs. I love my job, but my true passion is being a mom to one very special little girl. Emarie was born in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve 2007. The day she was born changed my life forever... for the better. She was born with a very rare genetic abnormality called 18q deletion syndrome. And we are learning more from her everyday than we ever thought possible. | Favorite movies | Napoleon Dynamite, Home Alone, Transformers, Dumb and Dumber, Stand by Me, Empire Records, Center Stage, Elf, well pretty much any Christmas movie. That's mostly me though. |
| Favorite music | Steve is all about Weezer, Muse, Silversun Pickups, a few others. I'm in love with Dashboard Confessional (Chris Carraba yeah!!), Michael Jackson is amazing, his old stuff anyway. We both like Live, AFI, and Augustana. We like music! Emarie likes just about anything as long as it's not too loud. She really likes it when we sing to her though, Christmas music is the best! |
| Favorite books | Everyone knows I'm all about the Harry Potter! I'm a freak, read em each like 10 times. I also like some classics like The Great Gatsby, Les Miserables, The Giver. Steve doesn't read anything beyond the sports page of the newspaper. But, he loves when I tell him all about the books I've just read, especially Twilight. hahaha! |
