Introduction	My name is Ron Pettibon. I am a student at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. I have always taken interest in many things. However, I am passionate about photography. I am in my final semester of college and of fifteen credit hours, twelve are photography related. Nine hours are from traditional classes and the other three hours are why my blog is named what it is...and because "curiousphotog" was taken. The "other three credit hours" as I refer to them are for self-study. I chose to shoot film for this course. Sure, many people still shoot film. But, how many still shoot medium format film in a Pentax 67 with a shift lens or a studio view camera. How many of the up-and-coming photographers know what the Shiempflug Principle is? Some may call me a purist. Perhaps I am, but I just like to think of myself as a preservationist.
