| Introduction | My first love is the Lord Jesus Christ who sustains my life and gives me hope, my second love is my amazing husband of a year and a half. I am enjoying the life I have been given which includes a lot of physical pain and illness. My purpose in this blog is to practice daily a new kind of happy - different than what the world thinks happiness is (health, wealth, success). I want to be different than so many stories I hear of people with cronic pain and illnesses who seem to be in a continual state of pity-party. I want to practice every day how to deal with the pain in a right way, and how to be the best wife, friend, daughter, sister, and someday mother that I can be. I want my life to continually point to the God I love and serve - He is my strength. I want to encourage others who are in the same boat. There is hope - there is a different kind of happy. |
