| Introduction | I am fortunate enough to work from home in my lampwork studio. I make beads by melting glass rods onto metal rods called mandrels. I sell my work online and at local events. I am married and have two kids and two dogs. I grew up in Southern California and moved to San Francisco when I was 19. While in San Francisco I fell in love, got married and had our first child. We moved to the East coast in 2001 and we've been in Charlotte ever since. I used to think we would go back but we've become pretty rooted here. I have a wonderful group of friends, we are always looking for new adventures to add to our life story. I mountain bike with my husband Scott when the weather is decent. My bucket list ( always adding and subtracting from this list!) *travel- everywhere! *learn a new language- Italian *learn ballroom dancing *Volunteer at an elephant sanctuary *teach the art of lampworking |
| Interests | being a good mom and wife (hey it isn't always easy!) growing a garden, learning to breath deeply, thunderstorms, people watching, music, making lampwork beads, making more glass beads. Swimming at the lake, drinking red wine. |
