| Introduction | Hello. I was born in Harlem, New York, raised on the Lower East Side of New York City, and had cows, chickens, horses and goats in very rural Wisconsin. I feel very fortunate to have had these experiences and I want to share what I've learned with a wider audience. To learn a little more about my journey on the paths through planet Earth and hopefully the roads you are on, please see any number (there are 140+ to choose from) of the columns I've written for "The Capital City Hues" newspaper. The website is: www.capitalcityhues.com. Just click on "archives" when you get there and my column is "Simple Things." The name of my yet to be published book is "Harlem to Holsteins" as is my web address. Harlem conjurs certain images and so do Holsteins. It is my belief that "reality" consists of a little of each and it is up to us to decide what that balance should look and feel like. It's a pleasure to meet you. |

Try writing your name with your other hand. Where was that person raised?
That person was raised in the land of ambivalence that seemed to be occupied by about 8 million other people. One funny thing is that he wrote well with either hand and the population size did not make a noticeable difference. Maybe he is more ambidextrous than he knows.
