| Introduction | For 40 years I was a teacher of English to those whose first language was another language. One of my joys is writing poetry, an art I started practicing in 2012 as a member of a poetry group in Chiang Mai, Thailand where I lived for eight years. There I met and fell in love with a young Thai man. We had planned to marry here in Boston. Unfortunately were not successful in obtaining a fiancé visa for him before the window of opportunity for such closed. |
