Introduction In 2002, I began to teach ballet and ballet influenced modern dance to Autistic college students, and after choreographing a pas de quatre for performance, I worked toward expanding my performance groups to include people with many types of disabilities. Dance styles now include Jazz and Japanese influence contemporary dance. I like to travel to autism conferences to spread the love of dance to Autistic adults, and to expand people’s fluency with self-advocacy and Autistic culture. I earned my Master’s in Theater Arts with coursework emphasis in disability and the performing arts from Portland State University and I did my undergad at Washington State University in Social Science.
