| Introduction | Hello everyone! My name is Melissa, and I'm a native of the Chicagoland area. I live in a suburb just 25 minutes outside of the Windy City. I'm currently employed as the Teen Services Specialist at my local public library. I am in charge of teen collection development and teen programming. I look forward to growing in my ability to better meet my teen's reading needs through participation in this course! I have two daughters, ages 10 and 12, a husband, and a sweet golden doodle named Ruby! |
| Interests | I love old movies from the '30's and '40's. My favorite actress of all time is Bette Davis (and, yes, her eyes are captivating). I also sing in a band. My favorite singers are Patsy Cline and Pat Benatar. I also dapple in writing poetry. |
