| Introduction | A baby-boomer born in the South, I was an only child but grew up in a big extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. I am a native of Florida - 4th generation and descendant of a Revolutionary War patriot. My family tree has limbs from all over the south: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. I am proud of my colonial and Southern heritage. I love family, football, travel, reading and making new friends. My favorite pets are cats, but I have loved the occasional dog. |
