| Introduction | I love to write, but I've resisted the urge to blog for many years. I was initially turned off by the absolute cyber drivel posted by many, a combination of bad grammar, text-ese, and twenty-first century shorthand that is almost impossible for anyone (who is not a 14-year-old girl) to decipher. I've finally come to terms with my desire to take a virtual red pen to the Web; just because some people choose to express themselves with symbols and emoticons doesn't mean that I have to follow suit! Since I am so late to the blogging scene, many of my initial posts will either be from past essays or old emails. Maybe the reason these crazy things happen to me is because I'm meant to share them with others. So here is a glimpse of my life, as I see it! |
