| Introduction | Paul W. Spradley was born in Long Beach, California. He began writing poetry when he was 22 years old. Before graduating a second time from El Camino Jr. College in California, Paul had three poems published in the 1987 MYRIAD (a compilation of poems and writing put together yearly by the English Department there) which encouraged him to continue his writing. Paul also attended California State University, Long Beach and was on the Dean's List his junior year. In the last few years Paul has begun writing novels and continues writing poetry.
