| Introduction | After not being content in corporate environments over the last decade, I've started a company, Green Urban Enterprises LLC. Initially, we will be starting an urban farm to be a part of the burgeoning local foods industry of Cleveland, Ohio. Our second primary goal is to create distribution networks for the urban micro-scale farmer in Cleveland. Ideally, this will be a copy-able model for other cities. My basic credentials include a BS in Botany (studying mushroom hort. and ethnobotany), an MBA, seven years of gardening experience, two years of composting, two years in organic lawn care, and I'm exceptionally well-read in the neo-gardening lit. This blog will document my trials and tribulations with the local foods movement, my farm, my business, and any other activity associated with the urban foods movement. |
