Introduction | I have always dreamed of being a mother. I am very nervous to be a mom, but know in my heart that I am equipped. I also always knew that I would adopt. When I met my husband (then boyfriend) we talked about the possibility of adoption and he was all for it. Thank the goddesses for strong, open-minded men. Without the support of my husband (and I mean emotional) I can't imagine that I would have the strength to go through with this. I believe in equal rights, human kindness, karma, environmentalism, womanism, and in a person's inner spirit. I am a corporate trainer for my career. I enjoy what I do but would love to practice something more "social" rather than corporate. I love to read, our cottage, working on our ever changing home, cooking and all things food and, of course, my very bad puppy Rex. I am not the crafty, homemaker type however, respect and envy those who are. I am 31 years old. We purchased our home 4 years ago and have been married for three years. I am so excited to get started with our Zambian adoption and want to provide as much information as we move along our journey to our baby. |
