Introduction	In the past few years I have been creating this collection of reasons in favour of the independence of Catalonia. Many Catalans feel an urgent need to turn Catalonia into an independent country. The Catalan government is not allowed to decide any relevant issues as it is subordinated to the Spanish government. It does not have full power of decision. The Catalan government is today not able to fulfill the democratic needs of the Catalan nation. One of them: the freedom to organize a referendum. This situation allows incidents against the Catalan culture, the Catalan economy and language to occur. The independence of Catalonia shall be an easy solution to all of them.
