| Introduction | I’ve always been an all in kind of guy. If I’m working, volunteering, or chasing one of my hobbies, I’m the person who shows up like it’s the championship game — even if it’s just Tuesday. Sports, photography, and writing have been lifelong obsessions, and when I can mash all three together, that’s my happy place. Professionally, I’m a licensed real estate agent with Century 21 Spearfish Realty. My wife and I also own Sole Perfection, our downtown Spearfish shoe store — which means you can catch me from time to time talking about arch support and convincing people that yes, good shoes do matter. I’ve had the privilege of serving time as a board member on the Downtown Business Association, Chamber of Commerce, Northern Hills Amateur Hockey Association, Visit Spearfish Inc. and our State and Local Realtor Associations. I like to think of it as “community service,” but the kind you actually sign up for. Spearfish is a special place. The people here have given me more than I could ever repay, but I’m doing my best to chip away at the balance. This blog is another way for me to share the views, stories, and everyday moments that make life — and this town — worth writing about. |
