| Introduction | Outdoors-Enthusiast and 24-7-365 Boondocking Sustainability Experimenter, "Mobile Rik" built his own DIY Truck Camper, notably in only 3 days for under $250. He now lives permanently off the grid, traveling between free National Forest and BLM campgrounds, powered by his homemade DIY solar panels, and cooking on his little tin-can wood-gasifying cook stove. When not hiking desert canyons looking for rocks and ruins he'll probably be found in a random cafe writing books, making videos or new websites, or responding to some ridiculous technical emergency (totally wishing he was out camping!) |
