Introduction As an artist, I have been moved to learn more about how I can diversify myself in my technique. Through the years I’ve acquired different experiences such as painting murals and drawing perspective that have become my passions and influences in my career as an artist. Murals became one of my passions after searching to do something different. A need for artistic influence in the walls of children's hospitals was the break I needed to explore new horizons in painting. I produced twenty-two murals in total. I then pursued the opportunity to include young artists in the project as a community outreach. One of my biggest passions, however, is abstract painting. I started this beautiful technique, from my point of view as an expressionist artist, with well-known artists in Puerto Rico in their ateliers. Once I became a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, abstract painting occupied most of my artist training. By doing my Student Residency in New York, I explored the city’s influence upon my paintings from known artists.
