| Introduction | I’ve always been a fixer. If something broke, I took it apart fixed it and put it back together again. I fix broken furniture. I fix things around the house. I repair boat covers. If clothes don’t fit, I alter them. I fix his wheelchair if it’s not too technical. I draw the line at fixing the automobile. In 37 years of marriage my husband has learned to depend on me, that I can fix anything. When he was faced with Parkinson’s disease he knew he could count on me to fix it. (I WISH!) |
