When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
No. It made me sad - seeing such delicate beauty shattered. The shards tinkled like glass against the counter, and I knew to bring them back to life would only prolong their agony. God, I should have been a poet.
