| Introduction | Welcome to the Robinson family blog! The Robinson family consists of Talia and Jason and our two beautiful daughters, Gabi and Sophia. I started this blog after I learned at 20 weeks pregnant that my precious Sophia a heart defect. She had a large VSD, aortic stenosis and an interrupted aortic arch. I had Sophia down in Seattle to make sure she had the best medical care available to her once she was born. At a week old, Sophia had open heart surgery where they closed her VSD and repaired the interrupted arch. At that time the aortic stenosis wasn't as severe as they thought, but it is somehting that will be monitored throughout her life. We then traveled back to Seattle Nov. 5, 08 to have a stint placed in Sophia's aortic arch to repair an obstruction. This blog chronicles the journey we have had with your baby Sophia. |
