Introduction	Before I had kids, I worked as a nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Now, I can't imagine working with kids so sick. It hits too close to home. I became a stay at home mom after our son, Conner and his twin brother, Braedon, were born at just 23 weeks gestation weighing 600 and 450 grams. Braedon passed away when he was 2 weeks old and we wonder every day what it would be like to have him here with us. Conner is doing amazingly well for all that he has been through. He has Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Lung Disease, Apraxia of Speech (among other things) but is defying the odds every time he reaches a milestone. We are so proud of him. In March 2011, we welcomed a surprise addition to our family, a little girl named Brennan after my very special mom. Our lives have taken many unexpected twists and turns and we are trying to do the absolute best by our kids. www.aboutthelarsons.com
