Introduction Years of management in large organizations, both governmental and non-profit, taught me great lessons including the danger of relying on even the most well-intentioned groups for my financial security. Reading "Your Money or Your Life" and "Get Rich Slowly" were the beginning frameworks I used to reduce my consumption and live happier on less. The dollars added up until 2015 when I escaped the cube the first time. But the dollars for "just in case" weren't enough, according to the planners. So I went back to work with the ability to take jobs I loved instead -- from healthcare research to digital communications to Medicare beneficiary education. This blog is a space where I can continue to freely share some of the tips and tricks I've learned along the way. I hope they are helpful to you on your journey. Disclaimer: each person's situation is unique. As they say, "You Mileage May Vary."
