Introduction | Born in 1967 in Hampshire, John spent most of his childhood daydreaming about saving the world. Realising he didn't have what was needed he focused on a career as a programmer. A decade later he worked for himself, which took him around the world. He realised the people he worked with and the cultures he was living within, were far more interesting than anything he was doing for a living. Interested by the differences between cultures, John studied human history and wrote about his experiences. While watching a movie made by Peter Jackson in 2002 he realised everything he wanted to achieve existed within the creative realm. Having spent a lifetime daydreaming he set about focusing on making these stories play on the page. In 2008 he started writing his first book, getting up at 5 a.m. every day to get in several hours of writing before work, and then writing for several hours after work. John spent two years writing and editing Chasing Innocence. Turned down by several agents and not willing to waste years being rejected, he setup his own publishing company. He would produce a thriller contemporary to the best publishing houses. Chasing Innocence was published in January 2012. |

Lionesses have no manes. How do they know when they've grown up?
Because nothing is ever quite good enough, random mood swings and the ones with manes are always trying to get piggy backs.
