| Introduction | I have been living in Royal Oak, MI for the past year with my wife, Annette and chocolate lab, Madison. I have been a triathlete for the past 6 years. I finished second to last in my first ever (sprint) triathlon, and signed up for Ironman Wisconsin a month later. I was hooked. I spent the next year of my life training and finished the ironman in 16:25 in the 93 degree heat of Madison. It was one of the best days of my life, but you could not tell by the size of the blisters on my feet. I went to Central Michigan for undergrad and Physical Therapy school. I am currently working for Children's Hospital of Michigan. I like to do anything outside and have too many hobbies. I earned my nickname during a climbing trip to Wisconsin with some friends. I am currently spend my time working on our house, training for my second ironman, working and thinking about the ocean, rivers and mountains. |
