| Introduction | Hi my name is Jessica I am a massage therapist /body worker. I attended the Spa at Daytona College completing 720 hrs and 400 hands on clientele hours. I have been practicing massage therapy for two years now and I absolutely love it. I love to help improve people’s way of life along with a strong patient/therapist bond. I love massage therapy because we look at the whole mind body system rather than only a segment of it. I have come to an understanding that all things are possible through love. There are many benefits for massage therapy such as stress reduction, increased circulation, lowers stress hormones such as Norepinephrine and cortisol while increasing positive hormones such as oxytocin which is responsible for the feelings of love, joy, happiness, and bonding. I do several different styles of massage that can improve a person’s whole well being along with increasing a sense of connectedness and peace. |
