| Introduction | I grew up on a dry farm in the desert area of the interior of British Columbia, moving to the lush coast of Vancouver Island to attend the University of Victoria and achieve my teaching certificate in 1973. In 1982 I moved with my family to the beautiful Cowichan Valley about 1/2 an hour from Victoria. We had purchased a 40 acre farm that we enjoyed for almost 30 years until we retired to a smaller property in the same area. I am now enjoying more time to paint, hike and travel. With the blessing of continued good health I will be able to carry on with my passions. |
