Introduction	My name is Vivianne. My screen name has been Slinki for years though, thanks to the joys of online gaming (very slightly geeky). I am a mum to four amazing children. Three daughters and one son. My son - my only son - has Autism. I am a Christian - a follower of Jesus Christ. I started this blog for alot of reasons, the main one being to record and share my journey as a mum to a special needs child. In some of the earlier years of blogging, you will find (somewhat embarrassing) pics about my favourite hobby - baking and caking. But I have decided to drop that side from this blog, and focus on the crazy, never-know-what's-around-the-corner adventure with my son, with a smattering of life's ups and and downs thrown in. I hope to encourage anyone else who finds themselves in the unexpected place of being a parent to a special needs child. But mostly, I just want to record this stuff, so I can look back and say "Wow....look how far we've come". Thanks for stopping by :) xx
