| Introduction | "Why a blog about Portuguese music?" you might be asking. Well, it's a good question. Not naturally Portuguese myself, I was hooked in when I was passed a tape of underground music by a Portuguese DJ and journalist friend in the early 90s. At first, I thought I would just manage one Portuguese band. But after that project failed, others told me "why limit yourself? Why not help out the industry as a whole? Why not run your own blog?" So, welcome to my work in progress. I hope to cover music news, radio, television and culture relating to the Portuguese language arts scene (that means Brasil and Portugal mostly, with music as an emphasis). Olá, ta bem? |
