| Introduction | By vocation, I am a marriage and family therapist. I received my education and training at Indiana University, Butler University and the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute. By avocation, I am a writer and a naturalist. In addition to my newspaper column, I have also published my first book, "The Nature of Grace: Ponderings on God's Abundant Grace." On a more personal note, I have been happily married to my best friend, Rex, for 38 years and we have two awesome adult children--a son, Matt, and daughter, Beth, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Kristy--AND two adorable GRANDSONS, Matt and Kristy's energetic boys, Evan Jason and Joshua David. I have many interests, including writing, nature, our pets (Panda, a fourteen-year-old "goldendor" and Hope a six-year-old golden retriever), reading, needlework, mission trips with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and People Helping People (my hubby is an eye doctor), and riding my recumbent tadpole trike. My most enthralling and rewarding interest: EVAN & JOSH! |
