Introduction I started this blog to keep family and friends up to date in regards to my journey with breast cancer. Little did I know then that it would morph into this therapeutic extension of self. With the goal of being honest but hopefully not too painful. For those who don't know me and some how stumble your way here, hold on. I'm a recently divorced (three years ago is that still recent? feels like it) single mother of a 16 year old amazing son. In December of 2008 I had the mother of all mothers gallbladder attack. Landed a job in this crappy economy in August 2009 and then was diagnosed with breast cancer April 1, 2010. Yea you gotta wonder about that date. For those of you who want to know you will understand the following: Grade 3, stage 2A, 2.5cm, node neg, ER+, PR-, HER+. I know that looks like a lot of crap in the last three years but hey there have been some awesome stuff with some awesome people. Looking for spending this next year in pursuit of more good experiences. Spending more time with family and friends. And just trying to enjoy the hell out of being here.
Interests Fiber arts, ukulele and any activity that puts more good experiences than bad in my jar of life.
Favorite Movies Some Like it Hot. Ask me in five minutes and the answer could be something else. Gone with the Wind Giant
Favorite Music When I am in my living room alone and banging away at my ukulele totally butchering some poor song I have decided to brutalize. Yea. That's the best. Makes me smile.
Favorite Books I guess I am not much of a reader. I read a lot of stuff on the internet though. Maybe I have ADD when it comes to reading. Last book I attempted was Twilight. Help me. Made it to chapter 10 I think. I recently watched the movie. It was painful.

The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:

What? These questions are sooo stupid. I swear drunk and stoned out of their head people came up with these questions. AND I'm still going ahead with it just to see how bad they get.
