| Introduction | The Triad Public Safety Radio Group was an idea spawned by a group of law enforcement officers that also happened to be amateur radio operators with the goal of promoting amateur radio within the public safety field.
Membership in the Triad Public Safety Radio Group is open to all current and retired public safety personnel, including federal, state, and local law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical services, and government emergency management agency personnel. The Triad Public Safety Radio Group is not intended to be in competition with or a replacement for ARES or other radio clubs, but as a place for public safety professionals with this common interest to come together. |
